Stjärnhov

About twenty kilometres to the west lies the village of Stjärnhov, which has a permanent population of around 570 people.

Beautifully situated on the shore of lake Naten, the village grows substantially when the holiday visitors arrive in the summer. From lake Naten, the river Natängsån winds its way through beautiful countryside almost entirely overgrown with sinuous trees and vegetation before flowing into lake Båven, where you might even find a secluded little beach of your own  for the day.

During the summer, the bathing at Dammhagen, Naten and Solbacka is fantastic, and there are lots more delightful bathing spots to be discovered at the other 40 or so little lakes in the area.

Nearby Solbacka there's a fine eighteen-hole golf course; Gnesta golf course.
